Interiors is a series of five large-scale oil paintings exploring the inner life of women: through bedrooms, bodies, gestures, and touches that stretch from the mundane to the mythological. Executed in close conversation with classical visual languages, the works draw from Renaissance iconography and the tradition of figurative painting, recontextualizing its structures of femininity and beauty. Each painting serves as an altarpiece to personal memory: beauty that conceals violence, strength made of fragility, sacredness that pervades eroticism.
